PRIVACY POLICY

How Bloxom handles information.

Effective August 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Bloxom collects, uses, discloses, and protects information across its restaurant platform, including customer-initiated text ordering.

1. Information we collect

Bloxom may collect account and business details; restaurant, menu, location, device, and order information; customer contact and transaction information supplied by a restaurant or customer; data received from authorized services such as point-of-sale and payment providers; and technical, security, support, and usage records.

2. Text ordering and messaging data

When a customer calls an enabled auto-attendant, requests an ordering link, or starts a text-ordering conversation, Bloxom may process the customer's mobile number, message content, timestamps, delivery and carrier metadata, opt-in and opt-out events, HELP requests, restaurant association, cart selections, modifiers, pickup details, and order status. Bloxom uses this information to provide the requested conversation, create or support an order, deliver transactional updates, prevent abuse, troubleshoot delivery, and maintain consent records.

3. How we use information

We use information to provide, secure, support, bill for, and improve Bloxom services; connect restaurant systems; process customer-requested ordering interactions; route orders and status updates; authenticate users and devices; detect misuse; comply with law; and communicate about enabled products. Transactional text-ordering data is not used to send promotional marketing unless the recipient separately provides any consent required for that marketing.

4. Mobile information and consent data

Bloxom does not sell or share mobile information—including mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or consent records—with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in and consent data will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes. We may disclose mobile information to the restaurant the customer is interacting with and to service providers that help deliver the requested messaging or ordering service, subject to contractual restrictions and only for the applicable business purpose.

5. Service providers and required disclosures

Bloxom may provide information to communications carriers, messaging providers, hosting and security providers, point-of-sale systems, payment processors, analytics and support vendors, and other processors needed to operate an enabled service. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, to investigate fraud or abuse, or as part of a corporate transaction subject to appropriate protections. Provider terms and privacy practices may also apply.

6. Retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including providing services, maintaining consent and opt-out evidence, completing transactions, resolving disputes, securing the platform, and meeting legal, tax, accounting, and carrier requirements. Retention periods vary by data type and enabled product. Data may be deleted, de-identified, or aggregated when no longer required.

7. Choices and privacy requests

Text recipients can reply STOP, CANCEL, END, QUIT, or UNSUBSCRIBE to stop messages from that messaging program. Reply HELP for assistance. A recipient may also contact the applicable restaurant or use Bloxom's contact page to request help. Depending on applicable law, individuals may request access, correction, deletion, or other privacy rights. Some information may be retained when required for transactions, security, opt-out enforcement, or legal compliance.

8. Security and children

Bloxom uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is completely secure. Bloxom services are intended for businesses and general restaurant customers and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the text-ordering program.

9. Updates and contact

We may update this Privacy Policy as products, providers, or legal requirements change. Material updates will be reflected by a new effective date and, when appropriate, additional notice. Questions or privacy requests may be submitted at https://bloxom.ai/contact or through the restaurant involved in the applicable ordering interaction.

These policies apply to Bloxom services. A participating restaurant may provide additional notices or terms for its products, orders, refunds, and customer relationship.
